The 2025 Property Insurance renewal is quickly approaching! As a reminder, all official Property Insurance renewal communication goes through the major division finance leads. Here is a more accurate timeline:
- February/March: Major Division Finance leads should have received a kickoff email already
- April 21th: Deadline to update square footage allocation in FMI (Please note that after we run the FMI report we will be unable to run it again) If you need contacts to assist in updating FMI, please see our website and FAQs.
- May 1st: DOI sends the renewal to IRM
- May 12th: IRM will send out a sample invoice to major division finance leads
- May 23rd: Deadline for Major Division Finance leads to sent IRM updates. (Please note updates are to be made on Building and Content values only)
- June 9th: IRM will finalize the renewal with DOI and send out a final invoice to Finance Leads
- June 20th: Deadline for finance leads to send IRM department Project Id or Project Ids
- July 15: IRM will bill the property renewal
