How to request Coverage:

To request coverage, please complete the camper insurance request form. Once IRM receives your request, we will send confirmation that your program has been added for coverage. You will receive an information packet including policy information and claim forms. Premiums are billed through the NC State Financial Portal so you will need to provide a project number for billing with your request. You will receive an automated email after the last day of your camp. Final camp attendance must be reported within 1 week after the camp has ended. You will be billed based upon the final attendance numbers.

How to File a Claim:

In the event of an accident contact the parent, guardian, or emergency contact. The responsible party should transport the participant to a medical facility.  If the accident is an emergency call 911 and then contact the parent, guardian, or emergency contact.  Please provide the policy number to the provider so they can bill for services.  Make sure to collect a statement of the services and charges from the medical provider. These documents are needed to file the claim on behalf of the participant. Send the completed claim form, along with any supporting documents, to IRM. Please be sure to submit all documentation including the claim form and bills to IRM, not directly to the insurance company.
