How to File a Claim: To request coverage, please complete the camper insurance request form. Once IRM receives your request, we will send a confirmation your program has been added for coverage. Premiums are billed through the NC State Financial Portal so you will need to provide a project number for billing with your request. Final camp attendance must be reported within 2 days after the camp has ended. You will be billed based upon the final attendance numbers.
In the event of an accident contact the parent, guardian or emergency person and they can take the participant to a medical facility. If the accident is an emergency call 911 and then contact the parent, guardian or emergency contact. You will need to provide the policy number to the provider so they can bill for services. Make sure you ask for a statement of the services and charges before you leave the facility. These documents are needed in order to file the claim on behalf of the participant. Send the completed claim form, along with any supporting documents, to IRM.
