  • Download the NCSU Vehicle Insurance card (need to be affiliated with NC State University to access)
  • The vehicle policy renews July 1st of each year. The updated Vehicle Insurance ID Card will be posted once available.
    • You may also print this card to keep in the vehicle glove compartment.
  • Deductible amounts for
    • Vehicles up to $75,000 value
      • Comprehensive $500
      • Collision $500
    • Vehicles greater than $75,000 value
      • Amounts vary depending on the vehicle value

Training

“Distracted Driver Safety Training” course EHPS-GS101

  • This training reviews what it means to be a distracted driver and how to share the road safely with distracted drivers. Topics included for the participant’s education:
    • Define distracted driving.
    • Identify three types of distracted driving and common examples of each.
    • Identify techniques to share the road safely with distracted drivers.

“Driving Safely – Autos/SUVs/Pickups” course EHPS-IRM-01

  • This course will provide drivers of NC State vehicles awareness of the major activities that lead to accidents. Topics included for the participants education:
    • Speeding
    • Tailgating
    • Frequent Lane Changes
    • Failing to Yield the Right-of-Way
    • Inattentive Driving
    • Distracted Driving

“Driving Safely – Light Trucks and Cargo Vans” course EHPS-IRM-02

  • This course is designed for employees who drive box trucks and cargo vans, either rented or owned by NC State. The course will provide drivers awareness of the major activities that lead to accidents.
